Business Entities – From this section of the Alabama Secretary of State website, users can conduct business name searches and reserve names, pay filing fees, download copies of records and apply for Certificates of Existence.

FloodSmart.gov – This is the official website of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Flood insurance through NFIP is the source for flood insurance for residential and commercial policyholders.

National Association of Insurance Commissioners – The NAIC website includes a host of Consumer Alerts on catastrophic loss coverage, including Disaster Preparedness, Hurricanes, Five Reminders about Your Insurance Coverage, Managing the Claims Process, Flood Insurance Information, and Basic Homeowners Insurance Does Not Cover Floods.

American Red Cross – This website includes emergency tools and resources for disaster preparedness, complete with safety checklists for hurricanes and floods.
